Horse Racing Odds Comparison
Every Australian bookmaker’s price on every runner, live on one screen. Thoroughbred, harness and greyhound, with the best price highlighted and the flucs beside it.

The short version
What is racing odds comparison?
A racing odds comparison screen puts every bookmaker’s price for every runner side by side. Runners are listed down the left, bookmakers run across the top, and the best win or place price for each runner is highlighted.
Ours covers thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing at every Australian meeting, across 18 bookmakers. Prices update live, so the best price on the board is the best price available right now.
Taking the top price on every bet is the simplest edge there is in racing. It does not change which horse wins, but it lifts the return on every winner you back.
Why it matters
Racing prices spread wider than sport
A race has eight to twenty runners, and every bookmaker prices each one on its own. They rarely agree, and the gap is widest on the runners that are not favourite.
In this example one horse is 7.50 at the TAB and 10.00 at Betr. Fifty dollars returns $375 at one and $500 at the other, for the same horse in the same race.
Racing markets also move fast in the last few minutes before the jump. The price you saw ten minutes ago is often not the best one now, which is why the board updates live rather than on a timer.

Reading the board
Built for racing, not adapted from sport
Runners down the side, bookmakers across the top, and the best price for every runner highlighted. Then everything a punter checks before the jump, on the same screen.
Thoroughbred, harness and greyhound
Every Australian meeting across all three codes, with a next to go strip so the race about to jump is always one click away.
Win and place
Switch the whole board between win and place prices. The best price for every runner is pinned beside its name.
Flucs
Each runner’s opening, previous and current price, taken as the median across every bookmaker. Open the full chart to see each book’s line over the last 15 minutes, the last hour or since the market opened.
Market movers
The most backed and the biggest drifter in each race are marked, and money that arrives in the last ten minutes is flagged as late money. A move only counts once at least five bookmakers show it.
Market %
Every bookmaker’s market percentage across the bottom of the race. The closer it is to 100%, the less margin that book has built into its prices.

FAQ
Racing odds FAQ
Which bookmakers does it cover?
Eighteen Australian bookmakers: Sportsbet, TAB, bet365, Ladbrokes, PointsBet, Dabble, Betr, Unibet, PalmerBet, BetRight, Picklebet, SwiftBet, NextBet, Amused, EliteBet, ChaseBet, ColossalBet and 123bet.
You can hide any you do not hold an account with, and the board remembers your choice.
How often do the prices update?
Thirteen of the eighteen bookmakers stream their prices live, so a change shows on the board the moment the bookmaker makes it.
The other five are refreshed on a schedule that speeds up as the jump gets closer, down to every 5 seconds in the last five minutes.
Does it cover harness and greyhounds?
Yes. Thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing are all on the same screen, switched with one click, with greyhounds shown in their proper rug colours.
What are flucs and market movers?
Flucs are a runner’s price movements since the market opened. The board shows the opening, previous and current price, and the full chart breaks that down by bookmaker.
Market movers are the runners whose chance of winning has moved the most, either backed in or drifting out. Late money, a runner backed in the last ten minutes, is flagged separately.
