One Sided EV
One Sided EV Betting Software
Some markets are priced on one side only, so we can't accurately find the true probability. This tool compares the over across every bookmaker offering it and flags the ones out of line with the market.

The short version
What is One Sided EV?
Some markets are priced differently to the rest. Most bookmakers only put up the over line, so there is no under to price it against, and the usual way of working out a fair price cannot be applied.
One Sided EV compares these single sided options. It takes the over price from every bookmaker offering the line, applies an assumed market margin and estimates what the price should be. Anything sitting well above that estimate is an outlier.
Due to this, the EV% is not as accurate as the main EV tool, it is to be used as a guide to spot mispriced lines which could be value, in conjunction with your own research. This tool is for advanced users as you can not simply follow the selections as you can for the regular EV tool.
How the price is judged
One side of the market is all there is
On the main EV scanner we take both sides of a market, which lets us strip a bookmaker’s margin out exactly, giving us an extremely accurate fair odds. Some markets rarely offer both. When a bookie prices the over and leaves the under alone, that allows them to set whatever margin they would like giving us little idea on their belief on the true odds of that market.
Shannon Neale over 14.5 disposals
Thirteen bookmakers price the over. Not one of them prices the under, which is the problem this tool works around.
Instead we take the overs from every bookmaker pricing the line, apply an assumed market margin and arrive at an estimated fair price. Here that lands at 2.42 while bet365 is offering 3.75, so bet365 is the outlier and the opportunity is flagged.
Because the margin is assumed, the EV% is a guide, not a precise figure. Read it as a guide only and don't follow the exact figures.

FAQ
One Sided EV FAQ
How is this different to the main EV scanner?
The main EV scanner uses both the over and the under to remove a bookmaker’s margin exactly, which gives extremely accurate fair odds and EV%.
This tool only has the over to work with, so the margin is estimated rather than measured. That covers markets the main scanner cannot reach.
Why are the EV percentages so high?
Bookmakers set whatever margin they want on one sided markets, and they are usually far larger than on a main market. This allows some bookmakers to price selections extremely low compared to what they are worth, making the books offering closer to fair prices look extremely skewed.
A 50% figure does not mean a 50% edge. It means that price is a long way clear of the rest of the market and is worth looking at properly.
Should I bet every line it flags?
No. This tool is to be used as a guide alongside your own research. Expand the row, look at what the rest of the market is pricing, and make the decision yourself.
If you would rather blindly take bets from the software, use the main EV scanner instead.
